A physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Medical oncologists manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. Radiation oncologists use radiation to treat tumors. Surgical oncologists perform cancer-related surgeries. Most cancer patients work with a team of all three.
